We recognise the concern and worry people are experiencing as a result of the current situation with Covid 19.
The Research Foundation is a healthcare unit, and as such has a responsibility to protect our patients and staff as we continue to provide services.
Please note the following precautions:
- If you are known to have the virus, whether well or ill, you should not come to the Research Foundation for any reason until fully cleared by your health care provider/HSE. However please contact us by phone if you would like to discuss any scheduled appointments.
- If you have travelled from an affected area (Italy, China, Iran, Hong Kong, Singapore, Iran, Japan) you should not attend the Research Foundation for 14 days following return and then only if you have not had symptoms or a diagnosis. Again, please contact us by phone if you would like to discuss a scheduled appointment.
- If you have been in contact with a known positive case you should not attend the Research Foundation for 14 days following contact. If this affects a scheduled appointment, please call us.
If you are unsure or have concerns, please contact your GP by phone and follow updated information and advice from the Department of Health
Remember, good hand and respiratory hygiene is key. Take care.
